[UMC] Semiconductor Equipment Internship Recruitment Program for 4th-Year Undergraduate Students (Second Semester)

3. Position: Equipment Intern (Open to 4th-year students currently enrolled in science and engineering-related programs)

4. Internship Period: Second semester of senior year (February 2026 – June 2026)

5. Internship Role:
   Equipment Intern

   • Work Location: Southern Taiwan Science Park (STSP)
   • Job Responsibilities:
     1. Assist/observe in routine maintenance of machinery and equipment
     2. Assist/observe in troubleshooting equipment issues
     3. Assist/observe in collecting relevant data
     4. Other tasks assigned by supervisors

6. Compensation / Benefits / Accommodation:

   1. All interns are entitled to labor insurance, group insurance, and health insurance, same as regular employees
   2. Internship salary: NTD 40,000 or above
   3. Interns who meet performance standards and join UMC as equipment engineers after graduation will receive a signing bonus equivalent to one month’s base salary (bonus distribution is subject to company policies)
   4. Company dormitory (available only to students whose household registration is outside Tainan):
      • Rent: NTD 4,300/month (single suite including water; electricity billed separately)
      • Or NTD 6,000/month (single suite including water and electricity)
      • First month’s rent is waived upon check-in
